CTO and President
Carlo brings a rich and successful background in Information Technology and Business Management to JCS. Carlo is a creative thinker and “out of the box” technologist well-known within the enterprise collaboration and CRM communities for his reliable, innovative designs. He has consulted with a variety of Fortune 100 through 1000 companies around enterprise collaboration, cloud storage, cloud CRM, cloud service, and Single Sign On technology.
He has overseen numerous migrations from legacy on-premise data center systems to cloud technologies and has integrated and deployed numerous hybrid systems (both cloud and on-premise). Prior to founding JCS, Carlo was the Vice President of Application Development at Vistage International, where he was responsible for all internal and external architecture, systems development, integration, and deployment efforts. Carlo spent five years developing social business systems at Vistage and improving business efficiency by deploying tightly integrated leading-edge business systems.
Carlo thrives on solving real business issues with technology solutions. Before joining Vistage, Carlo was the Head of Global Information Technology for Overland Storage, a global supplier of backup technology located in San Diego. Prior to that, he was a Senior Business Consultant responsible for major ERP system roll-outs throughout the US. Carlo is one of the earliest adopters of enterprise collaboration technologies deploying one of the first versions of Jive software in 2002. Carlo has held senior management positions at a large South African manufacturing business. He has a business degree from the University of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, where he was also a part-time lecturer.
Alan has over 20 years of IT consulting experience working with hundreds of customers. He has led client services organizations across a broad range of industries and companies ranging from high-technology hardware to consumer products to financial services. The width and depth of his leadership experience uniquely qualifies Alan to head our Client Services group.
Alan’s team provides the management skills around client work including project scoping, planning and management along with community design, information architecture, scheduling and project control. His team lives at the bearing point between what features are necessary or desirable and project schedule, cost, complexity and risk. He is particularly adept at working with clients and leading them through the trade-offs necessary to design and execute a project that delivers as promised, on-time and on-budget.
Alan has been part of the San Diego technology scene since 1996. During the internet boom of 2000, Alan ran some of the largest internet projects in Southern California building out the initial web presence of Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium sized web properties.
Alan’s experience with enterprise collaboration projects began with Hewlett Packard, deploying early iterations of social business technologies. After Hewlett Packard, he moved into consulting as Director of Client Services for Fairway Technologies, developing his skills in untangling the often complicated needs of clients in order to build the technical systems that best meet their business needs.
Prior to joining JCS, Alan spent three years as Senior Project Manager at Vistage International, leading complex technical implementations of social business systems to meet the unique needs of Vistage users.
Alan is active in the San Diego community serving on the International Alumni Board of Directors at the University of San Diego, including a term as President. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
Vice President, Client Engagement and Box Practice Lead
Wes has over 15 years of Business Leadership and Project/Program Management experience, from team-sized process improvement to managing engagements between the United States and two African countries. Wes’ career began with the United States Navy as a pilot but during his career he worked on two major staffs, deploying IT and communication technologies.
After the US Navy, he moved into project management at Bridgepoint Education, where he deployed his first Jive instance. Prior to joining JCS, Wes was a Product Manager at Bridgepoint, developing strategy and directing implementations for social business systems.
Wes has deployed over 100 enterprise communities and integrated SSO, Identity Management Systems, HRIS, and other technologies. He holds a PMP Certification, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the University of Redlands.
Vice President, Salesforce Practice
As Vice President of Salesforce Practice, Bojan brings more than 20 years of IT and professional services across solution areas that include CRM, business intelligence, enterprise integration and custom application development.
Before joining JCS, Bojan developed Salesforce Communities practice at Cloud Sherpas focused on developing client and partner communities on Cloud CRM platform. Accenture (NYSE: ACN) acquired Cloud Sherpas in 2015 and Bojan continued to manage the Communities practice and implementation strategy for global Fortune 500 companies.
Bojan started his career as cofounder of startup Campusmarket.com later SYNAPS open source project for communities. He is passionate about leveraging collaborative-technologies to enhance decision making processes. Bojan holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Oklahoma City University.
